Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Part two of my boyfriend’s gift! Bacon roses, Spider-man poster, and Spider-man balloons.
Today I went over to his family party and surprised him with these! Then we played soccer (girls vs. boys), taboo, and chilled. I’ve always loved going to his family parties because they’re so different from the ones my family have. We never played sports and we only recently started playing board games at our family get-togethers. Their family is so active, and that’s what I love about them. Plus there’s always plenty of sugary-spaghetti around hehe.
Oh and I finally called Matt’s grandma ‘lola’ today. After almost 3 years, I finally had the courage to say it [:
Now I just have to memorize the tita’s and tito’s
Disneybounding to Disneyland again today! Snow white theme!
“For someone who was never meant for this world, I must confess I’m suddenly having a hard time leaving it. Of course, they say every atom in our bodies was once part of a star. Maybe I’m not leaving… maybe I’m going home.”
The soundtrack during the departure scene of Gattaca, one of the most amazing and inspiring films I’ve had the pleasure of viewing.
My attempt at Disneybounding it to Disneyland today! Pirates theme!
“What’s Titan like this time of year?”
I’ve never smoked or been into smoking but I can’t deny how unbelievably sexy Ethan Hawke is in Gattaca. One of my favorite movies if not my favorite movie.

After a long weekend of research lab, it’s nice to finally relax and this song never fails to help me do so.
The piano, the strings, the woodwinds, it all blends so perfectly.
I think because of my musical background, I have such a strong appreciation for instrumental music. I was in orchestra for five years before moving on to Drumline for four years. But what I really want to do before I die is to learn the piano. It’s such a beautiful instrument and I truly envy those who can play it but right now, I just feel too busy to learn.
One day I will though, it’s another personal goal of mine.
Ahhh I’m new and don’t know how to fix it.
But yeah lets play sometime after my exams! :D
Probably one of my best games with Corki, although my match history isn’t that impressive.
It feels good beating the other team after they’ve talked shit to you the whole game. Saying things like noob, scrub, and try-hard. I never understood why try-hard was an insult though. I’m trying to win, of course I’m going to try hard haha.
One of the things I’ve learned playing LoL is to never say I’m a girl because after that all they do is pull sexist jokes like ‘go back to the kitchen’. So I usually just keep my mouth shut until the very end when I’m beating their ass.
I still wish I had more people to play with though ]:
New sweater dress from Cache’ for only 5$! I love a good deal!

“Sleep paralysis occurs either when falling asleep, or when awakening. When it occurs upon falling asleep, the person remains aware while the body shuts down for REM sleep, and it is called hypnagogic or predormital sleep paralysis”
I experienced my fourth encounter with sleep paralysis last night. I remember the first time I experienced it I couldn’t go back to sleep because I had no idea what the hell just happened. All I knew was that I could feel my body being dragged up the wall, unable to take any action against it.
The second time it happened, my eyes were still open and I started hallucinating. I could see everything in my room including a dark shadowed figure in the corner. I was so scared. The only thing running through my mind was to move my hand and do something to get the hell out of there.
Last night wasn’t so bad though. My eyes were closed, thankfully, and as I began falling into sleep paralysis I could hear very loud trance music in my ears and blinding colors behind my eyes. Kind of cool right? I still had to force myself awake though, scared that my complete lack of control over REM sleep would force me to literally live through a nightmare.
Thankfully, I’ve become accustomed to these and can actually sense when they’re about to happen. It’s not so scary that way since I know that what I see, hear, or feel isn’t real.
Hopefully one day I can take control over my sleep paralysis and move onto a level of lucid dreaming.
Now that would be interesting.
